Some time this afternoon, you will receive a plain text email saying that you have a new login available to set up.
This email is legitimate.
Follow the directions to get access to the new training portal. All CMIS end users will eventually need to use the training portal, so setting it up now is ideal.
All current CMIS end users will be able to review the content available and can provide feedback or suggestions to Housing Alliance Delaware's CMIS team.
HAD will spend much of November building up the portal with things like:
transcripts for videos
more visuals
follow-up materials at the end of courses
additional workflow videos (ex.: for SSVF)
Also, with watching the videos, there's never a bad time to get some quick refresher information!
TRAINING PORTAL GUIDELINES:
Pending new userswill get access to the training portal by the end of the week.
Moving forward, all incoming new users will begin their training through the online portal. (This does not include those with trainings currently scheduled)
New Users will get 30 days to complete their training.

All New User Trainings will end with a Zoom meeting with someone from HAD's CMIS team.
Annual Refresher Trainingwill become required through the online training portal beginning in December. HAD will assign these on a rolling basis.
This includes Data Privacy & Data Security training, per HUD.
HAD will assign refreshers on a rolling basis, and users will get 60 days to complete their training.
UPDATE June 2024:This has been broken down by giving 30 days to complete the Data Privacy & Data Security course, which will unlock the Refresher Certification, which will expire 30 days later.
Extensions will need to be granted by HAD, but may result in locked CMIS access.
At HAD's discretion, a follow-up meeting may be required as a part of a Refresher.
