Workflow/Flowchart: Emergency Housing Vouchers

CENTRALIZED INTAKE DATA ENTRY STEPS

A) FOR NEW RRH & EHV REFERRALS

  1. Log 2 referrals in Coordinated Entry Event: 1 referral for RRH and 1 referral for EHV in Coordinated Entry Event.
  2. Send Referral to RRH project through Service Transactions.

B) HOUSEHOLD ALREADY ENROLLED IN RRH; EHV REFERRAL IS APPROVED

  1. Log referral to EHV in Coordinated Entry Event.

RRH PROVIDER DATA ENTRY STEPS


FOR NEW RRH & EHV REFERRALS

  1. Enter the client/household into RRH project and complete all data entry steps.
    1. An additional Release of Information (ROI) must be entered for the EHV project.
  2. EHV Project Entry
    1. When EHV issuing jurisdiction is determined, and the application for EHV is approved by the Public Housing Authority (PHA), enter the household into the appropriate EHV project (NCC, CoW, DSHA). Project Start Date will match the date of application approval.
  3. Housing Move-In Date (HMID)
    1. When client/household moves into rental unit with EHV, enter the same HMID in both the EHV and RRH projects.
    2. If a client/household moves into a rental unit without the use of the EHV, only enter HMID under the RRH project.
  4. Project Exits
    1. When assistance ends (including case management and financial assistance), exit client/household from the EHV project and the RRH project on the same date to the appropriate exit destination.
      1. If the household is still housed with the EHV, select the following exit destination: Rental by client, with other ongoing housing subsidy.
