Why this happens: A Possible Missed Move-In Date flag usually appears when a client has an active Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) or Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) enrollment, but the required Housing Move-in Date field is blank.
When a Housing Move-in Date is required:
Enter a Housing Move-in Date once the client has physically moved into a permanent housing unit through RRH or PSH.
Do not enter a Housing Move-in Date if the client is enrolled but has not yet moved into permanent housing. The enrollment date and move-in date may be different.
Examples:
A Housing Move-in Date may be blank for these reasons:
o Lease not signed or keys not received: The client has not signed a lease, received keys, or stayed in the unit overnight.
o Data entry issue: The client moved in, but the date was not entered or was entered incorrectly, such as before the Project Start Date or after the Project Exit Date.
o No housing placement: If the client exited the program without moving into housing, the Housing Move-in Date should remain blank.
1. Review client case notes to confirm whether the client moved into permanent housing. Enter a Housing Move-in Date only after the client has physically occupied the unit. Use backdate mode when available; for shelter projects, backdate manually, within entry/exit assessment.
2. Click the pencil icon next to the project enrollment start date for the applicable entry.
3. If the move-in date matches the project start date, enter it in the project entry assessment.
4. If the client moved in after enrollment began, add an Interim Update using the move-in date. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save & Exit.
