This article outlines how Agency Administrators in CMIS can manually reset passwords for end users in their agency.
Additionally, CMIS end users can contact Housing Alliance Delaware for a manual password reset.
1. Access the Admin module of CMIS using the menu bar. On the Admin Dashboard, select User Admin.
2. Click the "Search" button for all CMIS logins under your agency to appear. Additionally, you can use the Search bar to type a part of the end user's first or last name to narrow the search results.
3. Click the pencil/edit icon next to the user whose password must be reset.
4. In the User Information tab:
1. Consecutive Bad Logins - Reset if there is a red 3 in the row by using the "Reset" button.
2. Use the "Generate Password" button to open the password text field.
3. Type the new temporary password that the end user will use to log into CMIS with.
4. Click "Save & Exit".
5. Send the temporary password to the end user for them to access DE-CMIS. When successful, a "Password expired" prompt will appear upon first login. The end user will use this page to set their new password.
